It started in 1973 with a truck, a griddle, and a family that believed a fair deal and an on-time arrival were the whole job. The "roach coach" wasn't glamorous — but it taught the lesson that still runs this company: people remember who showed up.
That trade got handed down, plate by plate and handshake by handshake, for more than fifty years in food and beverage. Different products, same backbone.
None of it happens without the women who held it together — especially Ken's mom, who carried the family's name in food and beverage and the standard that came with it. Coastal Water and Ice is built on that.
In 2021, that fifty-year habit of showing up became Coastal Water and Ice — pallet and truckload bulk water and bagged ice, delivered direct. New name on the truck. Same family promise.
